I'm surprised this one didn't do better. |

This is really good, and it gets better the more you look at it. I think this is in th etop ten I have seen, and it could possibly win. One thing I might tweak is how much of the image fills the photo frame and maybe a little more clarity of the background. |

Wow- not only a great photo, but most people didn't think to do a reverse decolorization! I applaud your creativity! |

Hmm...something different. Usually other people would desaturate the background instead of the subject. There's a bit of noise that I can see though. |

Very unique decision to desaturate the main focus of the photo. It's a bit noisy in the colored part, so you might try keeping the colored and desaturated selections on different layers and then only sharpening the desaturated part, or even blurring the colored part. Cute shot! |

It's a well taken picture and such a handsome dog. There is a little to much noise for my tastes but that is more of a camera thing. I do question the reverse desat choice. The color draws my eyes first to the heart. |

Wow! I think this is the only entry that chose to desat the subject. I wish I'd thought of it. :^) Great subject and expression, very nice desat effect. One of my favorites for this challenge. Gotta love that slobber. |

wow - this is really really cool. first one i've seen to desat the main subj but leave the bg whole. it's very trippy, esp since you captured the dog so crisply and with so much detail, full on drool in motion mode. 10. |

haha, great shot. DOF and composition are nice and the reverse use of selective desaturation works well. A little noisy in the background for my taste, but still a good nonetheless.... 7 |

Read the challenge .........'highlight an item and turn the background to greyscale'. Your are backwards. |

bongo! (bingo!) great capture of the ..ehm..slime (I don't know how it's called) or waterdrops..that look in her eyes and nice desaturation of the subject itself (you're one of the few who dared to do that!) |
