 This guy made me laugh. Great when you're this involved in getting the perfect shot!

Taken at 28mm.

Subtle editing:
Reduced blue channel's luminosity while boosting its saturation. Slight negative gamma curve. Slight crop from 3:2 to custom aspect ratio. Slight sharpen. Resize.

As I'm looking at this I'm thinking the rock is only a few feet off the ground, so it's not wow'ing me in that sense. The shot itself however is pretty cool, I like his blue top against the blue sky on top of the white rock, it all works nicely together.

it's more of a snapshot than anything else, so I couldn't really see this getting best photo of 2009...but colour is good, composition is good...5
