I got a little too excited and did a bunch of PP with this photo. It is my first entry ever and I'm quite disappointed that it was DQ'd. Nevertheless, I'll promise to abide by the rules and be a responsible DPC member.
Disqualification Details
Your border must be distinct and clearly recognizable as a border. It is impermissible to add image area (negative space) to your image that was not present in the original capture. Please also note that SC has determined that your removal of the toothpicks was considered a major element removal.

it's quite a decent first entry. keep on shooting and enter as many challenge as you can.

Thank you for all who voted for this. My score is all I could hope for with it being my debut entry. I had to rush it since I shot the picture 2 hours before the deadline thus the sucky title and post processing.

Different. Kinda fun and unique for sure. I'm seeing some shadows and edging in this with a distinct rectangle around the orange area...like some canvas was added perhaps?
