That is the official proclamation and his signature, just my hand and pen held in the shot. (hard to shoot left-handed too!!)

Really nice photo, but perhaps you could have used a higher aperture to get sharper focus on more of the letter. 7

Very nice, very clear. The black background and dof force the viewer to the center of the shot. I like the composition of this.

"Who's your Daddy and what does he do?" (Sorry, I love Arnold movie references) Nice photo - 8.

Typically a newspaper photo of a "signing event" would highlight the person doing the signing, and not the document they are signing -- the story that goes along with the photo would explain all that. So to me, this seems a bit unrealistic for a newspaper photo.

Nice composition. I would've liked it better if it was a bit more in focus. The third paragraph already seems to be a bit out of focus and it already is in the middle of the shot.

Not something I'd see in a Californian newspaper. I think you can bet your best lens it'd have the real Mr. Arnond in the photo. (I realize you probably made this up though. But I think you'll understand my point)

Cute idea. Not a picture I would expect to see in a newspaper though. The story yes, the picture no.
