Getting this picture was a total fluke. I stopped for a red light and looked out my window to see this guy getting busted. I have no idea for what though. I was lucky enough to have my camera on the passenger seat so I pulled out my D-70 and just started shootin'. It was tricky having cars driving in the way so I only got about 7 shots before the light changed green and I had to go.

Little dark. Needs to be lightened some. Good capture and composition, however. Great timing!

Focus is off slightly.

good subject, but poor photo- watch out for hands/cars in the foreground, and the pole cutting off the cop on the right. It's not super sharp either- those aside, it's a good idea, just needs cleaning up

You probably didn't have time to get the focus just right, shame.

You are like a real reporter.

Poor headline, bad composition, too dark, out of focus, lucky shot. Minimal basic editing could have improved this, and a decent headline (topical, specific, active) would have convinced me to rate it higher despite the quality issues. Crop out the guy's hand on the left, and maybe even the cop on the right, brighten and increase the contrast, see if you can sharpen at all, though you really should deal with that issue when you take the shot.

Need more lighting.

Good photo. But definately not a good headline. What is the charge? (make one up) And you need more faces toward you for a newspaper shot, in this one all but one person is turned away from you.

you must have felt great when you caught this shot. It's a bit out of focus and i would have cropped off the distracting elements on the foreground. Also the cop on the right with the portophone needn't to be on the picture.
