 Probably a bit of a shoehorn, but do I think the title makes it a fit in the challenge. I did not use a grad filter here, so struggled with the sky's exposure under basic editing rules.

Yeah I can help you out, and explain what I mean. Almost every other win on this site is a nature shot, and they all look the same - beautiful and poster-like. Ogremerk has a point when he writes:
"Why are the second and third place winners at the same exact place?" - they proberly arent, but you get the point...
I miss a little more edge and creativity in the most of the challenges!!
Well thats just me.
And yeah, how can this count??????????

Really? Boring? Am I missing something here. Am I the only one getting excited by this shot when you would find this a boring shot? Could you please help me out in explaining what you mean by this?

Alot of 2's and 3's being dealt out to nice shots lately. Glad this overcame that and ribboned as it deserved. Hopefully the people who shell out these low votes on nice images will eventually learn that their low votes don't do enough damage to keep a good photo down.
