 Slogged out into the actual Blizzard for this one... through the forest near my home, 2 feet of untouched snow. The wind was blowing hard, and my lens had to be cleaned constantly. I didn't take many pictures, but when I saw this scene, I spent around 15 minutes taking a hundred shots to make sure at least one worked out, b/c I knew I had found something worthwhile.

I'm glad to see this on the top 10 page now. I thought it should have finished in the top 10 for sure. Love the stark contrasts of the lines of the trees popping out from the blowing snow. Beautiful capture!

Nicely done. The gradual fading of detail as I look farther into the background certainly reminds me of the horrid visibility in a bizzard.

Gorgeous shot. I'm usually a high contrast person but this lower contrast is great. This is my only 10 in this challenge.

What a click stopper! There's nothing really going on in the photo, but I'm captivated. Maybe it's fog that adds a little mystery and makes me want to walk in and check it out. The tones are great, and I love how there's trees from corner to corner.
