This was a concept that I had experimented before, but somehow couldn't get right the second time around...

I took 4 different roses, and then removed some petals and put them inside just one. This was to give a notion of constructed nature.
Unfortunately, I edited it on my laptop, and when I saw it on a normal display it was just too contrasted and saturated. Lesson learned: buy a new display :P

this is almost a sad piece - somehow I feel it points to man's obsession with how we look and how plastic surgery is now the norm; the photo itself is well done, good composition; good lighting and good contrast in the colors

Unique concept, but that white background, especially against the blurry yellow and red petals is painful to the eyes. The lack of human interaction also hurts this. If a hand was placing a petal, that would give the image some "life". As is, the elements are disconnected, figuratively.
