as a MACRO shot: I think the composition is nice, but a bit centered. The DOF is pretty good, a bit more would have gotten the nose nice and crisp too. Lighting seems a bit dark (but then again, I can't seem to get my monitor calibrated right)
Cute dog, for sure
Id give it a 7....instead of the 2 I gave you...you understand why :)
Side note...I bowl in Ajax every week...Plaza, on Harwood :) small world |

UPDATED COMMENT : After much consideration, I've decided this does meet the challenge... Beagles are, afterall, work dogs... Tacking on the points I initially took off... Shot would have worked batter for me without the right side... |

| Ok were does this fit into the catagory. Nice closeness, but the challenge was for Technology. Was your buddy a by product of a test tube or some other realm of technology??? |

| You already know you are asking for it with a "cute puppy" shot. You missed your challenge by one week. And it is a shame because it is a great pic and he is oh soooo cute. Are the sad eyes supposed to beg us for higher scores? He really is cute but I really can't see where you have meet the challenge THIS WEEK. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Do you mean the technology of his ability to smell? That just came to me. Maybe......maybe not..... Still good shot. PTL Yes the technology of the Beagle's nose deserves 2 more points. Here's a 7. |

| I'm not sure if you've entered the right competition. Maybe this shot was for last week's competition entitled "Macro". On the whole, a good macro shot. A slightly deeper DOF, will probably have Buddy's nose in focus. Also, I think it's a little too tight a crop. For the Macro competition, I'll give you 7. For this week's competition, sorry buddy, 4. |
