 Was on vacation, did not know of the challenge till I got home.

Very fortunate, I took the picture on the 17th, not before!

This guy didn't sit long, so getting the pose was more about luck than anything else.

I would have liked to have "fixed" his tale, but not allowed in basic!!!!

Oooooh I smell a ribbon. I really hope this was shot in a/your garden and not a public aviary. Truly a wonderful image. Just that nasty twig behind on right only flaw.

WOW .. this is absolutely fantastic .. jumped right out of the 'in the garden' page .. i love your thick black border .. everything about this is perfect .. the details on the bird are amazing .. i'm not voting but just had to comment .. :)
