This reminds me of one of those old high contrast B&W pics. I'm quite the fan of 'em myself.

Beautiful BW shot. (I prefer it to the color version) Captres the detail of the stonework really well.

Wow, this is one of the most contrasting B&W pictures I've ever seen! This is really a great shot... perfect except for the wire (photoshop it out!). :o)

Black and white is way better Terry. Makes the stonework a feature of the image, whereas the colours seemed to dominate the colour version. The contrasts between the different stone shades and the mortar really works well. Also means the patchy grass isn't noticeable. haven't you been getting the recent rains?

I like both shots, but this really brings out the pattern in the stonework. You can still pick out that banding in the sky, though.

A big difference between the color and b/w. I like this one much better so good choice.

I have to agree that the mono looks heaps better the other looks way over saturated. I like the work you have done on the mortar. I swear the person who came up with power lines was not a photographer! It is a little bit distracting here but doubt its worth the effort to remove it and the shadow.

o like the way this one looks like, there is a nice combination between the flat sky and the mosaic look of the building wall
