This is a very neat shot Susan. The wind blowing the tree really adds an erie effect. |

Greetings from the Critique Club!
It seems I am the designated critiquer for you :)
At first I thought it might Art's picture. I saw the tree as a godzilla for a second! Also reminded me that I forgot my tripod, I'll never let that down haha.
I think that the tree might have been a love it or hate it feature, you know how fickle DPCers can be about blur. I thought the lightpost was great. The only thing I would have done differently is to take this from a little higher angle so that the building in the background is shown more above the railing and fills the sky a bit more.
You received a 6.2 average from the commenters though and posthumous liked it so you know you reached some people.

Oh and edited to add, I love Yo_Spiff's comments haha

Well I only gave this a 9 but I suppose I should have combated all of the ridiculously low votes and gave this a 10. This shot is great on so many levels. Love it, and if I had an award I would give one to you but alas I do not. So I will do this instead and post it on the Posthumous Ribbons, Part IV thread but you are probably already there. Good job. |

Grog say Snarfles robbed at spearpoint. Grog see creative use of blur. Send Thag and Kron to kill low voters. Skins of trolls keep female warm in cold time. |

I find the motion from the tree to be more of a distraction than interesting. I do like the foreground exposure and tone of the photograph. |
