I gave this an 8 on my first pass. I, unfortunately, never made it back for a second pass. This is wonderful, one of my favorites in the challenge. I love the graphic, sparse feel of it, and the way it fights against the subject. Well seen! |

I need to understand the thinking behind this pic. Im going to vote this 4 simply because the huge black part at botom. Im sorry I dont get this. The processing is not a problem and actually like the B&W with twigs coming from this black but it needs to be narrower - use less space |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Wow - What a pristine and original image, wonderful composition and bold as you like.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all
Overall: Quite brilliant really. |

This seems to have gone from a photo to a graphic image now with the B/W conversion. The bottom area of black makes it feel like the image is still loading and hasn't finished. |
