 My title actually has nothing to do with the challenge topic. the Trinity River flows through Fort Worth, hence many events are labeled "Trinity -something-". One of these riders is wearing a T-shirt that reads "Trinity Rodeo." Thought the title sounded right. There actually is an event called the Trinity Trot, though it is a fundraiser run/race for the YMCA.

I had a lot of difficulty getting this image to look the way I wanted. Not sure how it will really do.

Anticipated critiques
-Don't like the desaturated appearance
-Bland/blown sky in background
-Rider near the camera is more prominent than the other two.

After voting started, I noticed a harsh, unrealistic edge at the front of the lead horse. I should have softened that a bit, as it gives a bit of a "pasted-in" look. I am probably being my own worst critic.

Post-challenge notes:
Did about as hoped, maybe a touch better. I was intentionally trying for a retro hand painted look to it. I was pretty sure that look would not sit well with every one. Also as expected, any use of a border will result in some low votes from people who feel it is not appropriate. I have been avoiding borders recently, but in this case I felt the faded border enhanced the look I was going for.

Great capture. The first horse has more power in the photo than the rest IMHO but I think fits the challenge beautifully.

I find my eye drawn heavily to the "Trinity Rodeo" shirt. I find that distracting.

5/10 But the border keeps it form being a 6 or 7 in my opinion...

I really like what you did with the edging on this...you have a great shot...it is clear and your colors are well done...but, I see the horseman in the front first then the two in the back...I'm not seeing them equally...if they had been side by side then that would have worked but my eye is drawn to the one in the front first
