 Put the balloon on top of a lamp and used a bit of fill flash. Had the 36mm extension tube on.

PP - cropped, blurred/cloned to get rid of dust and banding and harsh shadow, colored uniformly blue (also because of banding), reduced noise, doged/burnt knot, vignette, resized, sharpened with noise reduction, blurred a bit more background.

You know what is scary? I almost entered on that looked exactly like this! Blue and all and to the left. Quite odd. I'll have to upload it sometime so you can see it. So of course, I think it's a good idea, too bad it did not do better :)
