I haven't had much luck with my submissions lately, and it's not exactly where I hoped to be when getting close to my 50th challenge. Well, this is...number 48, and I'm probably glutton for punishment when I submit not only a flower, but a wild flower. Based on an image search here Dandelions...at least the pre-fluff ball kind aren't the most common subject to enter. I'm sure there is a reason for that, and I'm likely to find out. LOL.
A little concerned with how it will look to others. It looks pretty amazing on my desktop monitors and looks great on my iPod Touch 2g as well as my cheap laptop. It does look slightly different in contrast and color, but not far off. I do the best I can to calibrate my monitors and they seem like they are good, but something, somewhere might be off and adding to my entry issues.
Anyway, I really enjoy looking at this photo, and hopefully it will grab some positive attention. It's a long shot, and it's likely to be shot down by the usual "I hate flowers..especially wild flowers" crowd, but one never knows until you try. :) |
