 another shot of Maria, the same woman as in my January 2010 FS

on one hand, I feel conscious about entering a similar shot of the same person, on the other hand... hey, if Manny Librodo can do it, why can't I? :)

don't know about you, but I am absolutely mesmerized by her face... I already remarked in my comments to the first image that her intense inquisitive gaze reminded me the famous "Afghan girl" by Steve McCurry, only years and years later.

Nice allusion to an iconic shot. I think the piercing green eyes is what makes that image so memorable. This is one of the few instances where I actually want to see an image in color. 7
