 my last photo of the apostles got DQed after ribboning because i took it before the challenge date, so this hidden gem contest with advanced editing is pretty exciting! Lets hope this one does as well! This is a HDR tone mapped with photomatix taken from 1 raw image.

how can it be sunset looking east? to my eyes the colours of the sea dont look right

did you flip this shot as it looks like the sun is setting in the wrong direction, still it is a nice shot.
