Love the photo, but do not like the border. And I am guessing I will not be the only one who says that.
I think this photo would be equally strong, and probably stronger without it.
I really like the capture of this bird. Nice detail, and I like that he is looking over his shoulder at you. For some reason he strikes me as having a great sense of humor,
The photo is a little top heavy, but with a bird like that, I don't know how you would do it otherwise. |

| Quite harsh daylight but the sky is clear giving good BG, eye has catchlight, crisp and in focus. You normally see these little guys around or in water. |
