I really don't think this reflects the sprite of the challenge, everyone has two eyes. As a portrait, try getting about 10 or 12 feet from the subject and go with a f/8 (or so) setting. That would get most of the facial features in focus. Very important; focus on the eyes. That will make or break your portrait. Also use unsharp mask to sharpen the result. |

Your approach to the topic is made clear by the title, but it's a tough call to make. We all have 2 eyes and this is not a portrait challenge. It's a very cute pic however. She's gonna break some hearts one day. |

They are lovely eyes. I think for this challenge I'd prefer that just the eyes be in focus, or the crop tighter, or something to make the eyes clearly the subject of the shot and not the whole face, cute though it is. |

Effective lateral thinking insofar as making a lovely photo eligible for the challenge by virtue of the title choice. Love the pensive expression, would like to see how it would look with a slight increase in saturation. |
