 This is an annual (osteospermum, I think) from my garden, in an antique bottle that I found in the ground in Florida.

The whole of it is only four inches high.

I hope you like the image.

It makes me feel hopeful.

Love your isolation of color and really love the concentration of light. Good choice of blurring the bottle while making the flower sharp. Very compelling image. Nicely done!

I generally find flower photos to be quite boring. But, I like the shadows on this one and find the bottle intriguing. It looks like a flower growing out of an ink bottle.
