 I can't believe it! I actually captured the elusive, golden, paper-crested book owl. A rare nocturnal creature that is known to glide high above in the dark, moonless night skies of summer. How lucky can a girl with a camera get!

heh heh...

Actually, I remember seeing a photo very similiar to this in a photographic magazine awhile back and then I saw this challenge. So I decided to recreate it as best as I could. Therefore, I am not the generator of the concept of this shot. Only the poor amateur trying to learn from the idea of another. Hope that's ok. :)

Not sure if this is original but I don't care. I love this! Concept, lighting focus - excellent. Only small ctitism is the red lines at the book ends. I know in advanced editing this would be legally cloned out. So to achieve such a result without breaking the rules only adds to my appreciation. Well done - 9
