 Driving through the country in the morning on the way to Calgary we came across a large herd. These two were getting along very well. Very well indeed.
they stopped what they were doing and posed momentarily for this portrait. I was pleased and said "thank you!" I took this with the 100-400 because I was not getting into the pasture with either of them.He's too big and...she's got horns!

if you cropped off a little bit of the left side, i think i'd like it a little more! love the lighting on the front cow and all the texture in the wheat/grass in the foreground. beautiful shot.
