This little next box is on the fence in the back yard, very popular with bluebirds & sparrows. Unoccupied presently. Lucky me, everyone has the same fence, in the same weathered state, so if I stand on the back step I get a nice angle for BG blur. I waited for 10AM nice sharp shadows. This is hand-held, slightly cropped, w/a BW layer to sharpen the shadows. If there was a bluebird looking out, it'd be perfect.

OK after viewing the other entries in 'Weathered' I realized I'd been a little light-handed w/the PP, so I attacked it again with Topaz Adjust and some Omni light. One step to my R would've improved the comp, but it put my neighbor's huge propane grill in the BG, which I didn't like. Although the grill looks very expensive, shiny & new. Next spring I intend to try to catch a bluebird in the comp, too. |
