That is absolutely brilliant. Ingenious use of depth-of-field, wonderful composition and wonderful concept!

An instant favourite from me - congratulations on pulling this off so brilliantly.

Another anti-thesis photo...

Dramatic and unusaul. I like the red white and blue tones. I like the unbalanced composition - thatin itself gives a confrontational feel which emphasizes the gesture. I might have taken the glasses off. Wish the "red side" of the face was as sharp as the "blue" - same goes for the chest - If you could have had the hand be out of focus because of a narrow depth of focus that would have been better than blurring it. 7

A very powerful image. You lose me a bit on the left side, especially with what seems to me to be unnecessary space. I feel like the lack of focus on the right side is enough of a negative (in the photographic sense, not the emotional one) composition without the space on the left. I don't entirely get the tape-like piece, but I can definitely give you the benefit of the doubt with the rest of this stunning composition. The seemingly inexplicable color cast on the body is awesome and really adds another dimension to this photo. All in all, a great challenge entry.

Great idea, execution is good and photo is excellent. The extended arm is blurry but I can figure out it's giving the finger. Great artsy shot. 9

I like the apparent mutilation and the fgeneral set-up, but could have done without the glasses and the transition in colour

something good about the delivery of this image.

Very unique take and must not have been easy! I think, for me, the hand reaching out being a total blur hurts it, and not sure if I would prefer the two-tone high-key if I could see it presented in other ways also. But your vision of what you wanted is the deciding factor, regardless.

Artistic and original. The left hand needs to be a bit sharper and/or a different color to be effective. The way it is - it really blends into the background so that the finger looks disconnected. High key effect is great for this.

Very original, different to DPC. Like it.

The paper covering the mouth has no reason to run off the page. No need for
nude model to make the point. Too much blur.

this doesnt show freedom.

Masterful. This is the kind of image that inspires me to spend $25 and become a member, just so I can give this a 10. The message being put forth here is so clear, that it had to be painfully difficult to get right technically. The placement of the subject in the frame is perfect, as is the high key lighting effect. Excuse me while I go delete a bunch of photos from my hard drive that just don't compare to this brilliance.
