 This eagle was actually being pursued by a seagul, which I removed from shot, because I did not like the depth of field effect.

Content works well for challenge theme but photo doesn't capture the imagination - a shot with wings more horizontal might convey the eagle gliding on the thermals?

Nice composition and POV. You really managed to capture your subject in the perfect poise. I think a little more deeply saturated sky may have improved it, but still a great shot nonetheless.

The challenge rules clearly state no symbols of freedom. The American Bald Eagle is one of the biggest symbols this country has besides our flag. Please make sure to read the challenge =)

Wow, what a great capture. I think a bit more contrast might make the eagle stand out even more, but tis is a very nice shot as it is. Great job!
