Dime and a stack of mail (you know, bills). A vision of the current state of the economy, mine in particular. :-(
The dime is held on-edge with a small glob of tacky adhesive, surface is semi-glossy black graphic arts film.
I was torn about the title, my first option was "Brother, Can You Spare A ...", and the second thing I thought Might be both apt and more descriptive was "My Unbalanced Budget", but of course it looks like I'll go with the punniest choice.
Tilted composition reinforces the "unbalanced" aspect (as does the DOF blur), and makes the stack of envelopes look a little like surf about to crash down on (crush) the coin.
I also like how (especially in the thumbnail) it also resembles the back half of a car speeding away into the night ... :-)
