Taken 10/9/2008 at the Monterey Bay Aquarium while on a "field trip" with ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/31.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/31.gif', '/') + 1) . ' Isaac as the guest of ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' Bear_Music. More (and much better) pictures from this trip in this gallery.

Fortunately, after I saw the challenge topic, it took only a few minutes to locate an image I find the polar opposite of "cute and cuddly" as I expect most of the pictures to be.

Awesome abstract. A bit dark, but I like it.

I'm only commenting in this challenge (not voting) but if I was to vote on 'baby jellyfish' in general I guess I would hope that you would pop one into a clear container and let us revel in a close up of it's incredible delicate texture - this has a certain abstract fascination but doesn't really allow the viewer to engage with the subject.

Good luck

This would make a really terrific texture. Why don't you upload it to the gallery?
