 i took this shot yesterday morning thinking of the Minimalism in Black and White challenge ..
lucky for me i looked up the meaning of minimalism when i got home .. this does not qualify ..
A school of abstract painting and sculpture that emphasizes extreme simplification of form, as by the use of basic shapes and monochromatic palettes of primary colors, objectivity, and anonymity of style. Also called ABC art, minimal art, Also called reductivism, rejective art.

You are rockin' on that landscape, girl. I adore it. The tones!! And I love the trees, like craggy fingers reaching up to touch the clouds. :)

It may not be minimalism, but it sure is stunning. I love this in BW. In fact, I love images that would normally be seen in color to be in BW - it does a trip on your head.

Roz,this is beautiful. I wonder if just two colors can make such an amazing image - won't 200 colors make the image 100 times better?? Maybe that's the difference between the perception of a mathematician and an artist.
