The 'distorted areas' are in the original, I think they're foreground bokeh. Editing consisted mainly of upping the saturation, not much else.

Great statement, for sure, and the saturated color accentuates it. I would love to see some ads out there with this kind of visual thinking.

Your interaction of foreground bokeh with the background bokeh could open up a whole new genre of digital photography. Goghkeh, maybe. I'll be stealing this technique.

Out of the box for sure, but I can absolutely see this being used in an advertisement related to the medical insurance debate.

A truly lovely photo that I would have given a 7 or 8 in a Free Study. Unfortunately, I don't think this meets the challenge at all, and must therefore sadly give you a much lower score.

the title confounds me a little. is that a vulture? the silhouette makes it hard to tell

The image here does not meet the challenge imo, and not a Stock - medicine image

Even ignoring that, there are artifacts through the image, the leaves in the top are a distraction, and the bird is underexposed so just a black blob.......

Way too obscure - an ad agency would really have to add a lot. Technically, odd exposures and a lot of noise.

Well, I guess this does meet the unique view of medicine :)
I really like the colors in this photo, and the silhouette of the vulture adds mystery. But I don't feel like it fits the theme well.
