Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) – Well constructed; fits challenge well. My only criticism would be on how busy it all looks. I’d like to see some other variations, especially with shallow DOF to show only a couple of spools, with the rest in the background and slightly out of focus.
(2) BACKGROUND – Though small, the black background sets off the subjects very well.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL – Very good close up. Good DOF to bring everything into focus. Lighting looks good to me.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL – Well done. I see nothing to change.
(5) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO – Well executed, but very busy. Nothing here to “wow†the viewer, as others indicated.

| Nice... I like it a lot... good placing, nice blues... and very good lighting... I'm giving this a 9, because it doesn't wow me as much as a few of the other picture. Nice job though, and good luck! |

| This is a great idea, however, leaving off the green and multi-colored thread would give it more of a blue feel/look. |
