I would have liked to see this cropped just slightly tigher on the lefthand side. The righthand edge is fine but since the canon is pointing off the right side of the image I think it might give more visual impact to crop the photo lower (with less sky) and tighter on the left.

Nice composition. Very blue and still and just right in the clouds. consider a title change to "Canons for Jesus"

The idea is there but there`s quite a lot in the image that isn`t working for me.
A lot of foreground and seascape where the eye will wander to but where nothing is happening.
Maybe getting closer to the wheel of the cannon and also getting a lower viewpoint which would just incorporate just the cannon, the cross and the sky would give the image more impact. However,I stress that this is a purely personal preference and shouldn`t be taken as a criticism of your image which may work for many voters in it`s present form.

Simple, effective and well seen.

Lovely image. Great use of lines and conflicting elements. I think it could benefit from some creative post processing to make the mood a little more dramatic to add to the meaning of it. Still top ten material for sure. 10

I like the simplicity and subtle colors a lot. I don't know if this was an option, but the composition would have been much stronger if you had moved to the right and either up or down, such that the cannon was further away from the cross and not aligned with the water's edge.

Without context (I don't know where this is or what is being represented besides war and Christianity) it doesn't say much about freedom to me. I'll assume it is a historical battle site from the American Revolution.
Photographically, it is a rather dull and literal interpretation. It is very static and lacking in drama or mood of any kind.
