 Thank you all for your kind comments! they were truly appreciated....

These were little pieces of incense sticks, I took different shots, several with faster shutter speed in which the smoke was clear and defined. Then I started to slow it to create a more surreal effect. At the end I liked this one better. A couple of people suggested to get rid of the negative black space, I tried it but for some reason the photo was a lot clearer on my monitor and the so negative black space was covered with a beautiful piece of smoke and I kinda liked it that way.

This was fun to shoot but I had to open all the doors at the end not to set the fire alarm off....lol

So what are they? I came back to see but there's no info. (thanks for the update!) Loved the whole dark mood with splashes of muted color. Interesting shot.

Nice shot. A suggestion would be to lose all the black space on the left and top and instead let your 7 objects fill the screen. Cool idea tho

I love the effect the smoke is creating, and that because of it, it took a monmnet to understant I was looking at incence cones and not poles in a body of water. Great effect.

GORGEOUS!!!! I love this image. The colors, the reflections, the concept. Even the smoke is wonderful. I'm a bit on the fense about the composition, thinking that the negative space on the left does not do much to help the image. Front page.
