Thanks to everyone who voted for my picture.....The photo was caught while I was taking pictures of the hummingbirds at daybreak. I heard the geese coming and turned and snapped the photo as they were landing.......the best shots are accidents......I cannot take credit for being a good photographer, just at the right place at the right time...I thank everyone and have a blessed day.....Juliann

Kinda agree in a way (there is no kinda about the stunning ... it is stunning FACT) ... this is a pretty paradoxical image under and over (ok well) exposed at the same time awsome and a worthy ribboner in my view.

Thanks to everyone for the votes. I am very honored and surprised! As with most good shots this one was an accident. I was taking pictures of the hummingbirds at first light and the geese came flying in over the water. I turned around and snapped several quick shots of them as they landed with the sun to their backs. I look forward to more contests,as I think they really improve my quality of picture taking...Everyone have a blessed day and thank you.....Juliann

Stunning it its simplicity. Wonderful pp'ing. I would argue that a crop on the right to match the left would make a better balanced image.
