 Taken in the tiny village of Kulusuk in eastern Greenland.

The aurora was going berserk that night, turning the sky into a dizzying green maelstrom.

I had some fun experimenting with long exposures. It's not easy to sit completely still for 25 seconds.

Nothing here has been retouched, except for a tiny increase in contrast to bring out the highlights on the person. The light source was an open window in the nearby building. The aurora is as it was - plain bloody beautiful.

This is much more about the sky than the guy but since we can't see it really big, that's not your fault.

Nice skies as backdrop but face is not easily discernible in this light.
