| KNew this had to be you. Just looking at your settings, 1/2500! at 3200! the reason for this? I can only imagine you wanted some grain but by this small example it doesn't look that grainy to me. Just curious. BTW what's the man like? |

How lucky are YOU to do his portrait!!! Love the colors, the casual pose, the lighting. But that curtain placement is distracting, and the overhead lamp is superfluous. I have it scrolled down to just below the edge of the lamp, and to my eye it improves the image.

| How fortunate you are to photograph this fantastic and accomplished singer. I like the single light above his head and the ambient lighting from his right gives form and depth. I might have moved the chair to be 100% under the overhead light. You have captured an intrepid expectational look on his face, with a touch of humour. The shadows being cast also break up the plain carpet. The curtain just seems to me to be out of place, but the curved wall adds a less harsh dimension than a traditional 90 degree corner. |
