 I started by taking a photo of myself, printing it and cutting out the mouth to match the barrel of the camera. Then I took a box, lined it with mirrors, two flat on the sides, two at 45 degree angles, meeting at the bottom of the box. Then I placed two blue xmas ornamaments in the crack. Put the picture of me over the barrel of the camera then got the camera (and pic) as close as I could to the ornaments and took picture after picture, until this came out. My cat kept helping by eating the box (and shaking it!) Then I took that photo to Photoshop, cropped it, sharpened and upped the contrast and walla, here it is

O.K. this wasn't any kind of perfect shot, but it's creative, funny and few true technical problems with it. 5 ones and 13 twos? How did this not meet the challenge? It's blue enough. The comments received seem more concerned with what's going on rather than photo quality and creativity. It was meant to confound/confuse/bemuse you. Enjoy the ride!

Fun idea, the perfect symetry, unfortunately, gives an impression of static and overstatment. Try recroping this one, the face image is powerfull enough to bear some grain.

You should have kept your big mouth shut! How many times have we been told that. Looks like a fly's eye. Unique idea and well done. Not a 1st place but a good job. PTL

is that the camera or your mouth! lol interesting idea. i tried some with some blue ornaments and couldn't get anything i liked. a black or dark background would improve this picture.

its freaky....way cool shot...took me a few minutes to figure out what it was. Maybe some type of white or black posterboard would have helped to block out the background.
