I have just been on holidays......I put up my photos, and as normal, everyone commented on the pretty, the nice, the conformist.......
........the images of this place, Paterei, a political jail, were not commented on.........
When people mention holiday, they want to see the nice, and not the confronting.........
This is likely to get a low vote, but I don't care......I hope it makes at least a couple of people think.........
They do not know how many people were killed in this place, in Tallinn, Estonia. People were killed during the Russian Occupation, the Estonian Freedom, and the second occupation during and after WWII........It is now a museum after closing not many years ago........ |

| Good use of negative space, layers, rhythm. I think the image has some trouble holding up under the weight of the title -- maybe if it showed someone imprisoned or in bondage. Others may feel differently. |
