I'm not able to vote on member challenges, but I regularly click through the images and comment on the ones that make me stop and look a little longer. This is one of those images.
Can't say I'm normally a fan of macro insect photos, but this really caught my eye. The background flower is subtle. I find myself wanting to see it with greater DOF... just to compare it to the level of background focus you created. Nice work. Hope it does well. |

| What really makes this is the star burst effect of the yellow flower behind him. I like the use of the diagonal line. One of the better ones I've seen so far. |
