(In northern hemisphere) If you’ve been up before sunrise during this past week and looked over toward the east-southeast sky, you’d have noticed the return of the brightest of all planets, Venus, appearing to shine with a dazzling, yet steady silvery-white light.
It reaches its greatest brilliancy on Dec. 6 at magnitude –4.7. This is as bright as it can ever appear and brighter than any other planet or star.
Venus will be positioned just below and to the left of the planet Mars, which is visible to the naked eye but will appear feeble (only 1/384 as bright) in comparison.

i have gone out and taken shots like this myself! it is so hard to make our beautiful sky turn out like you see it! this really is a nice shot, the blue sky is a gorgeous periwinkle color, and the moon, small as it is, manages to make me feel very small! compositionally, it is nice. i like where you placed the moon and venus in the frame. technically, you did well, also. i guess the only thing that bothers me a little is the fact that it is almost "too" empty! i really dont mind the negative space feel at all, i jsut wish this one had a tad bit more in it to give it more impact. otherwise, very nice job!

I trust that you are a star (or sky?) watcher. And I trust you that the little white glow is planet Venus. Unfortunately, the shot doesn't hold the viewer's attention at all. We just take your word for it. However, in terms of technicality, your shot is a decent capture. There is no blurring and I don't see a major distortion anywhere, so I guess you were either very still in capturing this shot or you used a tripod. And since it's dawn, try to capture that crimsony light too with a touch of the horizon somewhere at the bottom of the frame so that the viewer can relate to the objects and depth of the shot. Overall. 5.

Don't forget Mars and Spica!

might look better with another point of reference like something from the land included in the bottom or something. not enough substance in the picture.

Good astral photo. Are the other dots stars or hotspots?

Too far away. I know what you were trying to go for here.
