Thanks for your votes. For those who are wondering, this is not the moment of a sonic boom. The jet is creating the cloud by causing the moisture in the air to condense around it. Here's another shot taken at the same show.

Much more interesting to me than most air show images I've seen. I can almost imagine the "cloud" appearing and then the jet suddenly shooting out of it. Realy cool image!

This has got to be one of the most diffiicult shots to pull off. Timing has got to be perfect to catch a plane breaking the sound barrier. Well done.
