 My friend's 4 yr old Welsh Cob stallion Auryn, her studio lights. It was a challenge for me to try to shoot a horse in these conditions, I'm pretty lame at artificial lighting. Square softbox to the left and a bare light to the right. f8 and forget it. Almost no editing. I decided to leave it looking a little mysterious rather than bringing out more shadow detail, hope that suits the voters.

I thought I had commented during the challange on this but duhh didn't ... This is one of my all time Fav's!!! Wow the lighting and shadows and his eye just grab me and don't let go!!!!

Just BEAUTIFUL and my PICK for a RIBBON and I hope it gets the BLUE as this is inspiring and so amazing re the colortones, softness, and textures, and also the clarity of image.....from shez with love.....
