 today we went to visit a friend in hospital ..
a month ago she had tried to take her own life by jumping from a bridge ..
she injured herself so much that the doctors are unsure whether she'll walk unaided again ..
considering everything its a miracle that she is good spirits now ..
that's her daughter on the left ..

Cripes you've taken 'anything goes' right to the edge and over it ... kinda feels weird saying thank you but so often we hide the pain and grief of life away. I hope things turn out better in the future.

:-( Very sorry to read the story. It certainly is a miracle she's in good spirits; hard to imagine that attempted suicide could end up being a positive step in one's life journey, but then life is nothing if not unpredictable. Hope your friend and her family and friends all continue to find joy going forward.

Hopefully, she will recover and have a new lease on life. Image tells the story. I am happy that I have photography as a release from some of life's worries.

Oh, the backstory is awful and somehow uplifting all in one. Even without the backstory, the image has a lot of power.
