 That leaf will be gone by tomorrow, I'll bet. The twigs in the background are all bare. The orange bokeh looks almost like a sun but it's not; it's just another Autumnal tree with a gap where all the leaves have fallen. Soft light, soft colors, except for the harsh sharpness of that one leaf. And there's a bit of portentious dark wintry color off to the left. Some transitions are inevitable.

I love this time of year. Many fleeting moments of beauty.

PP - slight crop, sharpened leaf, levels, increased saturation a bit, resized, sharpened, added border.

The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it̢۪s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It̢۪s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to do it. Lovely. I like how you've composed it, with the right half much smoother and sparer than the left. a daring choice, but the image still has occult balance. Colors are great too.

I'm hanging this in the posthumous art gallery.

The background is really beautiful. I think the detail in the leaf makes the background look especially soft. Very Nice.

Or where not to go. That leaf seems to be saying, "Don't come any closer!" I love this image. I like the contrast between the warm background and the cool tree/branches, all being guarded by a neutralish coloured leaf. This is both an ominous and a cheerful picture, which I really like, it lends itself to all sorts of imaginings. (10)

The orange color - with reflections, on the one side of the tree makes a nice contrast to the rest of the image. Nicely done!
