Challenge: Balance (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Nikon Coolpix 5700
Location: My Front hall (the barre)
Date: Jul 18, 2004
Aperture: f7.3
ISO: 100
Shutter: 4 sec
Galleries: Emotive, Performance
Date Uploaded: Jul 18, 2004

Wanted to put the accent over the second "e" but didn't know how. Put on my faded pink shoes for this shot. Taken on a drab July day with a desk lamp on the floor for light. Stood in 5th position and just began movement for a turn.

Camera rested on a thin book on the floor. Cropped, applied a Hidden Powers filter called Graytones (to mute the skin tones and slippers), burned the background, dodged the floor, cloned out dirt. Applied neat image to soften focus all around. Resized to fit 640 square.

Does getting a perfectly balanced score in Balance count for anything? :)

Seems a bit washed out to me...

everything seems a little light in this. But it does show balance well.

Great job on this "dual exposure" shot.
Soft, delicate & classy.
One of my favorites in this challenge! ((9))

The white background with the pale pink gives this a washed out look. That is okay for some images, but I don't think it's working here. Little dodge and burn and b&w would of inhanced this some.Best of luck in the challenge.
