I love that line, "Removed some ducks." :-) I hope you ate them? Nice finish, lovely shot. |

The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it̢۪s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It̢۪s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to protect your and the other̢۪s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild. |

very peaceful and lonely photo, there's not much to it but that's why it comes across so strong, i guess we sometimes feel like that bench, i also love the tones. |

Love the very quiet hint of a distant landscape. I'm spending time on that bench and enjoying the mist. |

I like this, especially the tones and the faint tree on the right,,,,oh and you know I don't think it is a lamp, but it looks like one near the tree. |

Full of texture and emotion, but also reflects the sterotyped life of an old farmer. |

I think the noise is just a bit too much - but doesn't destroy the photo. I love the background and the way the photo is weighed towards the right but, I don't believe the title fits for that reason. I still like it. 7 |

When I first view the photo I see the stark shape of the bench and the grass against the off white paper-like background. As I look deeper, I see a triangle, some branches, then water, a building, faint reflections and down on to each individual grain. It's a beautiful photo with many levels to experience. |

The bench is great, but the umbrella at the far side of the river (if that's what it is) is even greater. (not voting) |

I love fog and images using it. You've done a great job here and it is interesting to see how much I can make out in the fog. The crop and composition is both good. 7 |
