The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it̢۪s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It̢۪s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to protect your and the other̢۪s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild. |

I like that the house doesn't fit squarely or snugly in the frame. Adds to the feeling of decay and collapse. The ghost-like figure also works to that effect. |

This caught my eye as I was browsing the first time without voting. Love the luminance and motion. The edges of the image are just a bit too dark for me but they don't make me vote lower. All in all an excellent work. |

Great photo. I love the juxtaposition of the building with it's extreme detail/clarity and the blurred shadowy figure passing by. |

The ghost is almost an afterthought. The break in the curtains gets my attention first and I can see a pair of eyes there watching the ghost as he passes. |

The passerby movement accentuate the slow disintegration of the building and creates a sense of depth. The green is gorgeous. (not voting) |

there's so much to like here. i love the processing for one. this has to be one of my favorite styles, the muted overall look with light touches of a single color. but probably the most striking element is the sharp dead looking building crossed by the blurred form of life. a 9 from me. |
