 had this entered in the Horizon challenge but unsubmitted it with a minute to go .. felt it probably wouldnt do too well ..
so i added the birds that i took a couple of months ago and the overlay c/- skeletalmess for our layered side challenge
this is a shot from yesterday when we took the Manly Ferry from Circular Quay to Manly .. katee came with us .. had to find out if they'd allow a dog on the ferry first .. dogs arent allowed on any public transport where i live which would make it very difficult for a person who didnt have a car to travel anywhere ..
fortunately for some reason you are allowed to take a dog on a ferry .. on a lead of course.:)

That is one big garden pond you have when you need a ferry to get across it - you're not secretly a Texan are you ?

omg I thought the birds were part of the original shot! Well done. I used to ride the ferry every weekend as a teen, I must go again. Very iconic.

Roz, this is gorgeous. It's been 15 years since I was in Australia, but I remember very well taking the ferry to Manly.
