I didn't think I was entering this challenge, because it has been pouring for the last 4 days straight. But on the last, it finally stopped raining for half an hour, and I dragged my brother out to take pictures of him.
There was a lot of complaining of "You said one more time, FOUR TIMES AGO!!!" Poor guy, clearly I torture him :-P
Anyways, I like this picture. Don't know how it will do, but hopefully upper 5s at least. 5.7? Would love to scratch a 6, but am not sure if its quite good enough.
After a recent forum discussion, I decided to try using Program mode rather than my usual Manual, since the lighting conditions were kind of tricky, and there was a lot of running (by the model) which was hard to predict. It worked pretty well I think. I might have to keep that in mind, that sometimes its ok to let the camera decide ;-)
Post challenge:
Wow, I have never had a score that was SO steady. After 30 votes this stayed steady between a 5.93 to 5.95! I guess all of the high scores were consistently followed by the lower ones. |
