The life of this rose was spent being grown for the floral market, sent to me in a Christmas arrangement, and then all too quickly withering away. Life is short.....for everything.

I could see this with a white / light background. Contrast to hard to the soft, almost defused rose

A friend of mine advised that if you shoot a flower, find a perfect one. A little saturation? 5
